The World Bank is offering three interventions for mediating the effects that are taking place because of the pandemic, and they are protecting the education budgets, executing learning recovery schemes, and getting ready for future issues. The loss of education because of COVID-19 defines the importance of mitigating the effects that occur in the long-term. It is essential to plan something that can recover the loss for the future generation. The countries are facing the loss of education and leading to inequality. So it is essential to implement the interventions the World Bank is offering the countries for recovering the education loss. 

The teachers were not ready for the schools’ closure, and the government was forcing them to make a remote learning system right away. Since December 5,623 days are losing the educational progress. Less communication between students and teachers was the cause of limitations of the emergency remote schooling. There are three core suggestions: protecting learning budgets, working in the learning recovery schemes, and getting ready for future mishaps. So here are the details about the interventions:

  1. Protecting learning budgets

This suggestion describes ensuring a strong recovery for the loss. It is vital to keep the education budget under control and safe. It is necessary for the schools and students who need financial help for learning. The government should provide enough funding to the schools to save the lost and deliver good remote knowledge. Without financial support, it will not be easy to carry on the education recovery strategies. 

  • Working on the education recovery schemes

The government must start concentrating on the students who need support to recover their learning loss. They can begin this with just-in-time analysis to recognize the requirements of students.
